Pussy Cat Pizza
for the little kids and big kids
Are you inspired to greatness by your kids? Here’s my healthy treat nite pizza that is fun to make and eat.
Ingredients
- Pita bread or a your own pizza crust dough – I use a gluten free pizza crust mix
- 1 small tin Tomato paste – enough to lightly top each pizza crust
- 1 dash of red chilies if desired
- 1 tbsp. Salsa if desired
- 1/2 cup cubed cooked chicken
- 1-2 tbsp. grated real cheddar as desired
Directions:
- Pizza Crust
- If using pita bread, cut triangles for ear.
- If using a gluten free flour mix, follow directions for dough, then mold the crust into a pussy cat head with ears.
- If making your own crust, you need to bake for about 10 minutes before topping.
- Pizza Topping
- Spread tomato paste lightly over partially baked crust.
- Add a little salsa if you like it spicier & even some red chilies.
- Top with chunks of cooked chicken.
- Cover lightly with grated real cheese.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is evenly melted.
- Pussy Cat Pizza Face
- Pussy cat eyes – use small ham slices
- Pussy cat nose – a small coloured candy like a smartie or M&M
- Pussy cat whiskers – some carrot slivers or cheese slivers or even small round licorice
